Q: How to I activate a product?

Q: Do I need to install any software?

A: You will need a web browser to view Absorb units (e.g., Explorer, Firefox). Also, to use the media items within the Absorb units, you will need to install:

  • Absorb Viewers: for using interactive simulations
  • Flash Player: for using animations, videos, and graphics

Q: Does Absorb work on a Mac?

A: Absorb units will work on a Mac, except for the simulations, which require an Absorb Viewer. Unfortunately, the Absorb Viewers are only for PCs. The other media items (e.g., animations, videos, graphics) will work on a Mac.

Q: Why can't I log in anymore?

A: Absorb uses two types of accounts, one for the Administrator and one for Students. For security reasons, the student login details expire after 6 months and can be renewed by the Administrator by changing the student password. Administrator login details do not expire.

To change the Student password, log in using the Administrator's email and password, then look for the link to the "My Account" page at the top of the screen, where you can change the student password.
